How to Join the Army as a Non-U.S. Citizen
The government would do anything to get new people join the military these days. You know that is why they have ‘Stop Loss’ too. They are happy even if it is not a natural-born citizen but foreigners are only allowed to join if they have a green card so they already have to be permanent residents of the U.S. There is an expedited naturalization opportunity so they can become U.S. citizens without having enough physical presence in the country.
A non-citizen can join the USMC as long as they’re a permanent resident / greencard holder.
