Why All The E-mail Lies This Election?

Some of my friends are Republicans.
Some are Democrats…so surely they have some juicy lies to spread. Why don’t they???
Why I am NOT getting dozens of e-mail lies about John McCain?? Why only Obama?
Makes me wonder…, are the Republicans so afraid of Obama that they have to create lies.
If I believe all my email:Barack Hussein Obama is a muslin (don’t forget that middle name!)
Not an a American citizen
Is somehow connected to corruption in Keyna
Will not pledge allegiance
Doesn’t wear a lapel pin because he’s a communist
Doesn’t put his hand over his heart when “God Bless America” or nation anthem is sung
His mother is a left wing social activist
He is a member if the SDS Weathermen from the 60’s (according to some, they are still haveing secret meetings!)
His campaign is being funded by: (Take your Pick) the Blank Panthers, Hugo Chavez or “Mysterious” European investors
Not only that: He painted over an American flag on his plane because he’s un-American
Refuses to show his birth certificate because of damaging info
Has been endorsed by the KKK (?!)
Blew off American soldiers during a visit to Afghanistan
Wears a USMC shirt thus disrespecting American Marines
Is the “Anti-Christ”
Holds phones upside down
Nickname is Walking Eagle
Will be (or has been, depending on the email) sworn in on a Koran
Voted against making English the official language’
voted to give illegal aliens Social Security benefits

Why Is General Peter Pace So Worried About Gays?

Why is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Peter Pace (USMC) so worried about gays? Shouldn’t winning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and beating al-Qaeda be just a little higher on his priority list? And could General Pace’s fear of gays possibly be related to his own fears about his sexual orientation?

Questions About The Us Marine Corps?

I’m considering joining the USMC but I have some questions:
1. How long is a tour of duty in Afghanistan or Iraq?
2. How many tours of duty is a marine required to fulfill in the above locations?
3. Does a Marine determine where he/she wants to serve?
4. If someone joins the Marines, is he/she required to serve for a minimum amount of years?
5. How does the USMC determine who will serve in either country or not?
I’d really prefer responses from those who served or are currently serving in the Marines.

What Is The Silliest Thing You Did As A Teenager?

My brother just came back from Afghanistan (USMC) and we were recounting the silly things we did as teens? He reminded me of my trip the DQ when I was 14.
This brother(S) and my older sister(M) and her twin(T) talked me in to being being body painted via M&T.
They made a number of attempt in the past but they successful in panting me wearing a T shirt (dusty rose color) and skirt (blue skirt). I was nude except for two small fabric bandaids over my nips and a 4′ square gauze bandage over my biniki line. These were held on by body tape (spray on) and the paint. A small stripe of gauze was placed as the hem of skirt and glued on.
Well, everyone liked the results then S suggested to go to the DQ about 3 blocks away so we all walked to the store — We did not see anyone on the way but I do remember the stares I got from the clerks at the DQ.
Mom picked us up in the van for fear that it would rain.

Is It Selfish To Not Want My Boyfriend To Be Accepted For Embassy Duty In The Usmc Because I Want Him Home?

I don’t really know much about it, but i do know that if he’s accepted he won’t see U.S. soil for 3 yrs. I don’t think I can handle him being gone that long. We were gonna get married once i finished college and start a family, but he says that he has to be single in order to go. I feel this way because he just got back from Iraq in April and could be going to Afghanistan the same time next year. How should i tell him about how i feel?

Please Help! Dilemma About Dli/linguist Mos’s In The Usmc!?

Ok. So I’m desperate to be a translator, or in any linguistic MOS, in the Marine Corps. Only thing is you don’t get to choose your language–and I really want to deploy to Afghanistan, thus I don’t wanna get Chinese or Japanese or something. I don’t even want Korean. I want Farsi, Dari/Persian or Pashto. So I don’t know, should I take the time to maybe get myself a little fluent before hand in order to take a proficiency test and guarantee my continuation of the (Afghan) language (the problem with this is I really want to enlist right away-I’m 17 almost 18-, and it would probably take me a year, maybe a little less to learn, to some degree, a foreign language)–or should I just take the plunge, take the DLAB and hope for the best? Any experience/advice would be great, cuz this one’s eating at me. Thanks guys.

my bf is leavin for afghanistan really soon it could be our last weekend together or the next one could be….ive been sick all week and i prolly could have gone to school but i got antibiotics today. my mom said i couldnt go.
-i dont know if this is our last weekend together or not
-i would get in trouble and its a 3.5 hour drive
-if he doesnt leave this weekend she might not let me go when he actually does leave…..ughh plz help.
mothers advice would be great
-i dont know if i could live with not seeing him 2 extra nights if he doesnt come back
