WW2, Korea, Vietnam all 12-13 weeks, oddly went I went to boot camp way back in 1980 it was only 11 weeks long and I have often wondered where they made a shortcut in the training. If you add the 2 weeks I spent in receiving barracks it would come to 13 weeks but I’m pretty sure you are asking about actual training cycle and not just the time spent at MCRD.
Yes boot camp has remained 13 weeks long. The only difference is that drill instructors are not allowed to physically abuse you. Drill instructors are also not suppose to curse at you but this rule is not always followed. Other than that, things are pretty much the same.
