When we’re invited we attend military funerals, returning troops (as a unit or singly) from Iraq/Afghanistan, and also departing troops going to/returning to Iraq/Afghanistan.

nopr never husrt of them — but will look out for them in the future!!!
Yes, I have heard of them, and seen them on TV. I think it is a wonderful thing they are doing.
Protecting the remaining loved ones at funerals from any and all war protesters, and standing guard over the ones that have passed at their funerals. And have also seen them at our local airport meeting and sending off those who are coming or going from Afghanistan, or Iraq.
Sometimes they are there to meet the casket as it comes in on the plane. Standing tall and proud with their American flags flying to pay tribute to those who have fallen and to give the families support.
I think it is a wonderful thing, and it brings me to tears each time. Thank you, and continue to do the work you are doing. May God bless you and those who have passed and their loved ones in their time of sorrow. . WE CARE!!!!!!!!
First to STEP….odd that Brits don’t seem to have any sense of honor for THEIR troops like we do for OURS.
To ALTER EGO. No, the PGR got it’s start in Kansas to protect and separate mourners at military funerals from those hateful Westboro Baptist Church people back in 2005, August I believe.
I know who this guy is! He has a blue Shadow and sometimes rides with Shrek on his backseat! HEY OLD SALT!
Yes, I, too, am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders.
Hope to see you at the welcome home FINALLY, on Monday for that Chief! Hope this one isn’t ANOTHER stand down and that he FINALLY made his flight home (he was due in Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday night).
I’ve seen the Patriot Guard Riders twice; both times they were riding with funeral processions for local military members who were killed in Iraq.
So you just ride around on your bikes and go to funerals? Doesn’t look too appealing. Your tribute link doesn’t work, btw.
In Kansas we see them a lot and many times some members will be in a restaurant we go to. I am sure you know why they are appreciated around here.
My Son and his family were blessed with the presents of the Patriot Guard Riders in Kansas. Thank you for being there.
there was a club in the 70’s called “Patriots”.Is this the same one? They were out of philadelphia
Of course!! Thank you one and all for your Patriotism and show of support to the families and all of us!!
