I just got back from iraq, usmc. I have never got such a slap in the face the moment i came back! what is with u ppl. I come back and the only thing ppl are worried about is when we r going to leave instead of finishing a job. does that make any sense? and u protesters who protest the war yet have the nerve to say u support us (me)!!!!! f*** you! dont support me when u dont support what im doing. Why do u ppl (not all) act so disrespectful?

It’s not worth much for me to read it, but I’m sure all these passive war protestor types would rather be promised peace and be pacified than recognize that no change has ever been made without sacrafice.
If anyone in their right mind actually thought that ignoring 9-11 after previous attempts on the WTC, never mind what happened to the U.S.S. Cole, was a good idea, maybe they’d have a leg to stand on when it came to taking soldiers for granted.

I realize things are really ruff over there (we’ve got a couple of friends that have rotated twice now)….& while they have told us about how the kids can go to school & getting street markets open in certain areas, the radicals, & insurgents & deaths squads are reeking havoc *(of course that is the headlines)….Be proud of yourself & your service to this Great Country…… I am very proud of my family that has served this country, & had many family members that served in Vietnam & Korea, both were unpopular & had many dissenting opinions. Don’t let it get you down. Again, THANK YOU SIR for your sacrifice, the sacrifice of your family & your comrades, it is now as it has been since the creation of this country….during times of crisis, when our country is in need, it is those who step forward and answer the call of duty, no matter how difficult – it is those that make this country what it is – i hope & pray that we never forget that. The US military did not lose the war in Vietnam, the Democrat congress cut the funding for the South Vietnamese government and allowed our allies to be butchered.

I hear you, I just got back from my second year long tour and getting tired of hearing people that haven been to Iraq telling me what they would different or that it’s a waste and that just pisses me off cause they’re saying that my soldiers died in vane and I cant exept that.
when i got back i almost went balistic on some hippies in a parade, there lucky my duaghter was in it and didnt come by yet……………
